TN Camp

Hey all,
I'm home, exhausted, but so glad I got to go! We had a blast! The first night we were there they put us up in a hotel. Us girls got 2 adjoining rooms and it was so fun. Just like old times! The next morning we went to church and ate afterwards. That afternoon we went out to the camp--wow it was so nice! It was a group area in a state park. The cabins were beautiful with a kitchen, bedrooms, living area and 2 bathrooms. The preaching was wonderful...my dad did most of it. The Lord spoke to me about being the best Mom that I could ever be. I'm always trying to focus on being a better wife, and of course I always will, but the Lord really spoke to me about the impact that I as a Mom will have on my kids. It's really scary to think of!
It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere, but we did have choir and sports during the day. The morning was a devotion, breakfast, short service and the different classes. The one for the girls went really well! We had a great time!
Our cabin was the closest to the dining/church area so I was able to lay Brooke down for naps in there during the day and if no one was in there, we could run and check on her occasionally. I would put her in my bed during the day cause the cabins were FREEZING! Better than hot though! The a/c was ice! :) Anyway, so she would be there, so tiny, inside my sleeping bag in the bunk with pillows all round her. You could hardly see her! At night she obviously slept in the crib but it was so close to the ground I was afraid she would get sick! PTL that she didn't!
I made a few new friends and it was great to see old friends, and, of course, spend time with my family. It was hard leaving knowing that I won't see them for a while, but I was so glad to get home to my husband because I missed him so bad!
I will post pictures tomorrow probably...too tired to do it now.
Love you all...
~~Jen~~
