So today, my husband came home with a little surprise. He immediately ran in the house and started jumping and bounding around like most little puppies do. Joey was thrilled.
For a little while. Then, not so much.
Brookie needed to be far, far away from such a scary creature.
Joe became possessive of his blanket and made a mad dash for it...
...despite this little white fluffy things attempts to stop him...
..ahhh. Home Run.
The night ended up turning out a little better. Joe is still not to sure about the little guy but has at least stopped crying as soon as he sees him, and Brookie will at least stand still long enough for him to calm down without screaming and crying bloody murder. He gave them quite the scare when he came in excited and jumping all over them, but he settled down later on!
He stayed outside for a few hours while Nate cut the grass...but he desperately wanted to be with those little kids who were closer to his size!
We are "giving him a try". I'm not sure if I'm ready for a "third child." And most of the time they are more work than kids anyway. But I'm starting to fall for him and it's only been one evening...so we'll see! :)

Oh, how fun! After getting our dog (who we have since sold...) we quickly realized that we should have gotten a SMALL dog. Glad you have a SMALL doggie to love...hope it works out. The children will LOVE it!
